Omni Events DJ & MC – Booking Terms and Conditions
1. Booking and Payment Schedule
Retainer: A non-refundable retainer of $100 is required at the time of booking to officially secure your date on the Omni Events DJ & MC calendar. Your date is not reserved until this retainer is received.
Final Balance: The remaining balance for all agreed-upon services is due in full no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the date of the event. If the balance is not paid by this deadline, services may be subject to cancellation.
Overtime Extensions: If the client wishes to extend the performance beyond the contracted end time on the night of the event, additional time will be billed at a rate of [$75] per hour, subject to the DJ’s availability and venue approval. Overtime payments are due at the conclusion of the event.
Pricing Philosophy: We do not apply arbitrary “wedding taxes” or hidden fees. The price quoted upon booking is the final price for the agreed-upon services and timeline. While our quoted rates are standard, we are committed to making high-quality entertainment accessible. If you have specific budget constraints, we are open to discussing flexible pricing options to ensure we can help make your event a success.
2. Venue and Technical Requirements
To ensure the highest quality sound and lighting production, the client or venue must provide the following:
Power Supply: At least two (2) dedicated, grounded 15-amp or 20-amp electrical outlets within 25 feet of the setup area.
If standard venue power is unavailable (such as for remote outdoor events), Omni Events DJ & MC can provide and operate a portable generator upon prior request [Optional: for an additional fee of $100 to cover fuel and wear].
Setup Space: Ensure a safe, level, and solid setup area.
Omni Events DJ & MC reserves the right to halt the performance or refuse setup if weather conditions pose a danger to the equipment or personnel.
Access: Access to the venue must be available at least one (1) hour before the start time for load-in and setup, and one (1) hour after the event for breakdown and load-out.
3. Travel and Accommodations
Travel Distance: Travel within 70 miles of Blackfoot, ID is included at no additional charge.
Travel Fees: Events located outside this radius will incur a travel fee of $0.75 per mile (Round trip) for anything farther than 70 miles from Blackfoot, ID
Accommodations: If the event is located over 250 miles away, the client is responsible for providing a standard hotel accommodation for the night of the event.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Client Cancellation: If the client cancels the event within thirty (30) days of the scheduled date, all payments made to date (including the retainer) are non-refundable.
Rescheduling: In the event of an emergency, the client may request to reschedule the event. The retainer may be transferred to a new date, subject exclusively to the availability of Omni Events DJ & MC.
Provider Cancellation (Force Majeure): In the unlikely event that Omni Events DJ & MC is unable to perform due to severe illness, accident, acts of God, or other unforeseeable emergencies, all payments made by the client (including the retainer) will be fully refunded.
5. Safety and Conduct
Safe Environment: Omni Events DJ & MC reserves the right to cease performance immediately if the environment becomes unsafe for the DJ, guests, or equipment (e.g., physical violence, aggressive behavior, or inadequate weather protection).
Equipment Damage: The client assumes full financial responsibility for any damage to professional audio, lighting, or technical equipment caused by the client, their guests, or the venue staff during the event.
